Airplane
During summer charters fly from most European countries to the airport of Heraklion. From the bigger European countries there are also direct flights to Chania. Greek companies like Aegean airlines and Olympic airlines do also operate flights to a number of airports throughout Europe. From countries outside the European Union it's possible to fly to Athens airport and change to a domestic flight to Heraklion or Chania. You can also first fly to a major European hub, like London Heathrow or Amsterdam Schiphol and change there for a flight to Heraklion or Chania.
Due to the fact that flight-schedules change constantly it's impossible to list all flights on this website. But we can list some companies. On the websites of those companies you can find precise flight information. Most of the companies listed below only operate flights to Crete during summer.
